• 80 – 71 days before departure date: 35% of tour cost
• 70 – 51 days before departure date: 55% of tour cost
• 50 – 31 days before departure date: 75% of tour cost
• 30 days before departure date: 100% of tour cost.
Penalties are also levied on the single supplement. Insurance is recommended.
- Arrival in Florence
- Private transfer to your hotel in Florence. - Evening meal in the hotel restaurant. If you prefer, we may alternatively book a table for a special restaurant. - DAY 1 - Wine Tour of Chianti Classico
- Hotel breakfast and pick up for a private visit to the Chianti Classico area. - Visits and wine tastings in three wineries. Sample some world-famous Chianti Classico Docg and Super Tuscan IGT wines. - Lunch will take place at the second winery. This is a small boutique cellar where you are going to have a tasty local dishes and wines. - Dinner at the hotel. - DAY 2 - Wine Tour of Montalcino and Montepulciano
- Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure for private wine tour of Brunello and Montepulciano
- Visit two different wine cellar to sample the renowned Brunello DOCG and younger Rosso DOC local wines. - Lunch in a small winery. Enjoy a typical Tuscan menu paired with glorious Brunello di Montalcino wine.
- In the afternoon stop to explore the beauty of Montepulciano and wine tasting in a prestigious local winery of Nobile di Montepulciano.
- This evening, you may wish to have a nice quiet dinner at your hotel, or our staff is available to assist you with reservations. - DAY 3 - Wine Tour of San Gimignano
- Breakfast at the hotel pick-up for a private wine tour of San Gimignano, land of Tuscany whites.
- Stop in a beautiful old cellar in the Chianti wine region. Wine tasting and olive oil tasting, then drive along the beauty of an unspoiled country to get to San Gimignano; here, you will stop in a small winery run by a young couple to enjoy a fresh homemade lunch with excellent white wines.
- Later, stop at the hilltop town of San Gimignano for free sightseeing through the ancient narrow streets. (You can ask for a professional tour guide upon request.)
Departure
- At the end of the tour transfer to the Florence train station or Amerigo Vespucci Airport for your flight home.
My 21 year old daughter and I just completed our 3 day private wine tour in Tuscany with our guide, Andrea. Everything was perfect. The itinerary allowed us to see incredible locations and taste delicious wines. I loved all the wineries and learning about their wine making process, then eating the best food and wine! Hi Victorio Sorry for the delayed reply. We have been very busy since getting back, catching up after being away. Unfortunately, we had to jump right back into real life here. We wanted to say thank you to you and your employees for organizing a vacation we will not forget! We had an amazing time learning about wines and we were very impressed with the level of knowledge and passion you and your staff showed. We will definitely recommend your company to anyone traveling to Italy in the future. The only feedback we have is that we would have preferred to have the longest day of wine tours on the first day, rather than the last and I think other guests may agree with us. It would be nice to end the last day a bit earlier to allow for time to travel to reach the next destination.
