What to Expect on Your Private Wine Tour in Chianti Classico
Your Chianti Classico wine tour begins with pickup from your accommodation (when accessible by car). As you drive through Tuscany’s breathtaking landscapes, your guide will introduce you to the history of Chianti Classico and the key elements that make this wine region world-renowned.
Along the way, you’ll have the chance to stop for scenic photos of the iconic Chianti vineyards and rolling countryside.
Your first stop is a boutique organic winery producing Chianti Classico DOCG and Super Tuscan IGT wines. Enjoy a private cellar tour, learn about the winemaking process, and savor a guided tasting of the estate’s finest wines.
For lunch, you’ll visit a family-run winery, where you’ll meet the winemaker and enjoy a delicious Tuscan meal made with fresh, local ingredients. This is a unique opportunity to engage with the winemaker, gain insider knowledge about winemaking techniques, and experience true Tuscan hospitality.
In the afternoon, continue to another highly rated Chianti winery, where you’ll deepen your understanding of the region’s wines with a premium tasting session.

If you have booked a Single (private or shared) day tour, cancellation terms are:
• Up to 30 days before: we will return the deposit minus administration fees
• 29 – 8 days: Deposit
• 7 – 4 days: 50% of tour cost
• 3 days or less to date of departure: 100% of tour cost.
Children on PRIVATE TOURS
- Children between 4-16 yrs, we will calculate the cost of the tour according to the number of adults, plus € 50 per child (this cost, of course, doesn't include the wine tasting)
- Infants between 1-3 yrs are free. Children's seat will be provided for upon request.

Five stars! We had a great tour with Matteo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and took us to two great wineries that we never could have found on our own. Both wineries produced high quality Chianti. For the second winery on our tour, the owner and winemaker, Misha, actually made us a lunch that was among the best meals we had on our ten day trip through Tuscany (and his wines were wonderful as well). Memorable experience with a quality company and tour guide. Highly recommended.

A great day featuring wine tasting and touring at small, medium and large wineries. All informative, each a little different, wines excellent. As well as our tour guide Vittorio. He was knowledgeable and knew when to let the experience speak for itself. We tasted Chianti Classico, Riserva and Supertuscan wines. All accompanied by a taste of Tuscany - cheeses, meats, bruschetta and home-made olive oils. Our favorite was the small winery. An intimate tour with the farmer himself. Lunch was served with all of the above as well as pizza, pasta, and a delicious dessert, in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the vineyard. A memory we'll never forget. A huge selling point of this particular tour, was the door to door pick up and drop off to where we were staying. We could sit back, enjoy the scenery, and not worry about directions or having too much wine. Vittorio was open to stopping along the way for some photo opportunities amidst the beautiful Tuscan countryside and small quaint villages. This 'Italy and Wine' private tour with Vittorio was the highlight of our trip to Italy! Simply fantastico!
