Private wine tours are more personalized and fun than those large crowds. In this prime wine tour, you will be guided on a full day excursion to the heart of the Chianti Classico wine growing region.
We are going to ride through the beautiful hills of Chianti, visit 2 wineries highly rated by influential wine publications.
You will taste the wines of the winery which will typically include at least Chianti Classico, Riserva, and IGT Super Tuscan.

What to Expect from this Chianti Wine Tour.
We will pick you up at your accommodation, as long as it is possible, remember that the historic center of Florence and Siena are closed to traffic.
Along the road to Chianti, your driver will explain the history of the region and the main rules for wine appellation.
Chianti Classico is one of the most beautiful regions of Tuscany. You can ask the driver to stop on the way to take beautiful pictures with breathtaking views.
Usually, I select two small boutique organic wineries that produce both Chianti Classico and Super Tuscan wines. If you have any requests you can ask to include your favorite wineries in this tour, enter this inquiry in your reservation, as long as the winery is in the Chianti Classico wine region.
For lunch, we will stop in a small cellar, this would be the second one, where you can experience fresh local food. This is also a good chance to meet the owner who's also the winemaker and spend a pleasant chatting about wine and local culture.
This tour usually lasts about 7/8 hours.

• Up to 30 days before: we will return the deposit minus administration fees
• 29 – 8 days: Deposit
• 7 – 4 days: 50% of tour cost
• 3 days or less to date of departure: 100% of tour cost.
Children on PRIVATE TOURS
- Children between 4-16 yrs, we will calculate the cost of the tour according to the number of adults, plus € 50 per child (this cost, of course, doesn't include the wine tasting)
- Infants between 1-3 yrs are free. Children's seat will be provided for upon request.

Five stars! We had a great tour with Matteo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and took us to two great wineries that we never could have found on our own. Both wineries produced high quality Chianti. For the second winery on our tour, the owner and winemaker, Misha, actually made us a lunch that was among the best meals we had on our ten day trip through Tuscany (and his wines were wonderful as well). Memorable experience with a quality company and tour guide. Highly recommended.

A great day featuring wine tasting and touring at small, medium and large wineries. All informative, each a little different, wines excellent. As well as our tour guide Vittorio. He was knowledgeable and knew when to let the experience speak for itself. We tasted Chianti Classico, Riserva and Supertuscan wines. All accompanied by a taste of Tuscany - cheeses, meats, bruschetta and home-made olive oils. Our favorite was the small winery. An intimate tour with the farmer himself. Lunch was served with all of the above as well as pizza, pasta, and a delicious dessert, in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the vineyard. A memory we'll never forget. A huge selling point of this particular tour, was the door to door pick up and drop off to where we were staying. We could sit back, enjoy the scenery, and not worry about directions or having too much wine. Vittorio was open to stopping along the way for some photo opportunities amidst the beautiful Tuscan countryside and small quaint villages. This 'Italy and Wine' private tour with Vittorio was the highlight of our trip to Italy! Simply fantastico!
